CS2 changed its crosshair twice in September 2026. On September 22, sizes moved to pixels and old codes were rejected. On September 30, the share code changed format: the game now writes “CS” followed by 44 characters, with no dashes, and rejects every CSGO-… code, even the ones from the week before. This converter reads all three generations of codes and console blocks, and gives you the code the game accepts today.
Because your code is in the CSGO-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx format. Since the September 30, 2026 update, CS2 only accepts codes starting with “CS” followed by 44 characters, with no dashes. Paste your code here: you get the same crosshair in the new format.
No. A code made between September 22 and 29 is already in pixels: it is exactly the same crosshair, just rewritten in the new format. Nothing is converted or rounded.
It uses the old CS:GO scale, which the game no longer knows. Valve converted nothing: crosshairs were reset to default. We convert it to pixels for your resolution, which is why we ask for it. Change it if your screen is not 1080p: the result is recalculated.
Yes. The new code is case-sensitive: “a” and “A” are different. Copy and paste it, never retype it by hand.
In CS2: Settings › Crosshair / Scopes › Share or Import, paste the code, then Import. You can also paste the console commands we provide, for example into your autoexec.
No. Since September 22, cl_crosshairsize, cl_crosshairgap and cl_crosshairthickness no longer drive the crosshair: they are replaced by cl_crosshair_length, cl_crosshair_gap and cl_crosshair_thickness, in pixels. Paste your old block here to get the new one.
